Set down relocated goods Copy

Once the goods have been lifted and relocated to the designated place, you will be required to set the load down safely.

When setting goods down you must ensure:

• No injury is incurred to yourself or team members
• No damage to goods or equipment

If it is a team lift, ensure that the team leader communicates the lowering and placement requirements and that all members work in sync to place the load.

In all instances, obey the rule of “fingers and toes”. Ensure that yours and any team members’ fingers and toes are clear of the load when placing it down.
